Up and coming Norwegian band Highasakite have been touring all around the UK. Last week they took some time out of their busy schedule to come and visit us at Sanderson and play a few songs from their newest album “Silent Treatment” for 1883 Magazine. Here is the behind the scenes of Highasakite playing an acoustic version of “The Man on the Ferry”:
You’ve been recently on tour around the UK: London, Liverpool and Leeds. Which city did you like the most?
London, but that’s only because we were there for the longest time and got to see some of the city. Unfortunately we didn’t get the time to see as much in Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester.
How different the UK audience is to Norwegian fans?
UK and Norwegian fans are almost the same. I think it’s the way people in northern Europe behave. Very polite, and serious, but very nice. The US fans are a bit louder and scream if they like something.
How long does it usually take you to pack for a trip?
1 (one) hour.

Clean socks, toothbrush and underwear.
Where do you get your inspiration from when writing your own songs?
