If you don’t get a chance to attend the World Cup this year, don’t worry. We have the scoop on the next best thing. Boteco Brasil Soho is an ongoing programme curated by Oskar Metsavaht and Cid Blanco collaborating with both celebrated and emerging Brazilian talent. From exhibits to culinary experiences, talks and screenings, this authentic Brazilian experience allows Londoners to watch the football matches immersed in a hotbed of gastronomic and cultural activity as if you were right in the heart of Brazil.

On a typical game day, Brazilians go from the beach to a “boteco” to grab “uma gelada” (a cold draft beer) and watch a football match. Boteco Brasil Soho brings this brilliant Brazilian custom to the heart of London: a unique and amazing experience built around football match screenings that stretches far beyond the beautiful game. Visitors are surrounded by art, music and design and fed a bountiful and free flowing banquet of Brazilian gastronomy throughout.

Simone Mattar, culinary designer in charge of the overall experience, weaves her unique passion for edible architecture through Boteco Brasil Soho, ensuring that each Brazilian feast is more memorable than the last.
