Dandelyan Wyld Tea comes to Mondrian London, featuring playful takes on finger sandwiches, savoury bites and retro cakes. Served on classic Portmeirion China, each course is paired with a botanical cocktail alongside loose-leaf tea from Camelia’s Tea House.
Like the four specially created cocktails, the dishes are also botanically inspired. Savoury dishes include an Elderflower Compressed Cucumber & Burnt Herb Cream Sandwich, Confit Suffolk Chicken Pin-wheel with Lyan Lager Braised Bacon Jam, and a Leek and Goat's Cheese Rarebit.
Of course, afternoon tea wouldn't be complete without cake. In a nod to the glorious tea times of the 70's, sweet treats include a Blackcurrant and Verbena Battenberg Cake, a Rose Blancmange and Caraway Shortbread, a Pine-scented Baked Alaska with Berries and an Earl Grey Chocolate Mousse with Candied Grapefruit.
#DandelyanWyldTea is served Thursday to Sunday from 12pm-5pm. The full Afternoon Tea is £55 per person with a Boozeless Option for £35. Those fond of the bubbly will rejoice in our Champagne Tea, which includes scrumptious botanical afternoon tea sandwiches, delightful cakes, a glass of Perrier Jouet champagne and a selection of loose-leaf teas for £45.
